Welcome to the International Housewares Association Blog! This new addition to IHA’s website is to keep you informed through social media. IHA bloggers will post entries weekly on topics such as current housewares trends in the industry, notes from around the globe, tips for having a successful International Home + Housewares Show, tidbits about the Show and a behind the scenes view of the Show. We want our members and industry participants to know what we know, what we are working on and what we are planning in the future.
In addition to this blog, the International Housewares Association has initiated pages and groups with various social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. We have also launched two Wikipedia pages, one focusing on IHA and the other on the International Home + Housewares Show. We encourage you to take a look at our Wiki pages to get an understanding of our purpose and mission. Just click on the links below:

Here you’ll find event information, up-to-date industry news, video links and links to companies of interest. It also serves as a valuable tool for those attending the Show. Attendees can register for their badges through the page, get the latest information on events and watch Show videos. Exhibitors will find a wide range of tools to enhance their Show experience. Our LinkedIn group has a focus on business relationships. You can join the IHA group and a subgroup for the Show. The LinkedIn page includes industry news, links to other companies within the industry, job openings and the ability to post discussions. We encourage you to join our network on LinkedIn for access and introduction to other professionals and companies in the housewares industry. Visit the following links and click “Join Group.”
IHA’s YouTube channel includes Show and industry videos. Watching videos from the last Show gives exhibitors and attendees an idea of what to expect before arriving in Chicago, as well as a way to experience events that you were unable to participate in.
