A Little Help From Housewares…

The Housewares Charity Foundation is proud to announce the 14th annual Charity Gala Dinner, set for Monday March 7, 2011. The Foundation has raised over $20 million since it’s inception and continues to unite and promote the philanthropic image of the housewares industry.

 Charities & Honorees

This year’s event will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer and the Texas Tech University Breast Care Center. The Honorees of this year’s Gala will be Barbara Turf, CEO of Crate&Barrel, receiving the Lifetime Humanitarian Award and Jerry Rubin, CEO of Helen of Troy, receiving the Humanitarian of the Year Award. Honorees are chosen based on their humanitarian and leadership qualities within the industry.

The event will be held at the Hilton Chicago and begin at six o’clock. The evening’s events include a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, awards ceremony and music. Dinner will be presented by the James Beard Award-winning Chefs. Seats are available for purchase now, don’t wait reserve your spot today!
