The Global Forum presents multiple opportunities for attendees to learn about and meet with global retailers who will be in on hand to speak about their retail outlets.
Colombian Retailer, Ambiente Gourmet, has 22 stores within Colombia and the surrounding countries. Patricia Valez, CEO of Ambiente Gourmet, will give a thorough overview of these stores and their position within the Colombian market. Attendees will learn the types of products this retailer specializes in selling as well as the requirements to be a supplier to Ambiente Gourmet. There will be a special focus on how Ambiente Gourmet has used social media to promote their brand within Latin America.
Walmart Puerto Rico will communicate their sourcing strategy for their 6 Supercenters, 8 Walmarts, 9 Sam’s Clubs, 31 Supermercados Amigo and 3 distribution centers in this region. Attendees will be briefed on the integral components of becoming a supplier to Walmart Puerto Rico.
Future Group India is a retail giant, operating several retail formats in India including Pantaloons, Big Bazaar, Central, Home Town, Ezone and Food Bazaar. Sandeep Poddar of Future Group will give attendees insights on selling into India, a market with crescendoing buying power and global importance. Attendees will be apprised on the expectations of supplying to Future Group.
