Grant Achatz, Rick Bayless, Chris Cosentino, Curtis Stone, Buddy Valastro, Fabio Viviani Among Celeb Chefs
Celebrity chefs including Top Chef Masters host Curtis Stone and Cake Boss Buddy Valastro will top the line-up of stars appearing in the Cooking Theater at the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show, March 15-18 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
The Cooking Theater is the focal point of Savor Home, the revitalized Gourmet Food + Specialty Products category in the Dine + Design Expo in the South Building. On hand will be exhibitors of specialty and gourmet treats and the tools used to prepare them.
The Cooking Theater is jointly sponsored by KitchenAid, Wilton Brands, Robinson Home Products and Whole Foods Market.
Cooking Theater Hosts The Stars
The chef demonstrations will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 and continue throughTuesday, March 18. Other celeb chefs showcasing their culinary skills will be Michelin star rated chef Grant Achatz, Food Network’s Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Top Chef Masters champions Rick Bayless and Chris Cosentino, Top Chef Fabio Viviani and Food Network chefs Aarón Sánchez and Claire Robinson and PBS’ A Chef’s Life host, Vivian Howard. Also appearing are well-known chefs José Andrés, Michelle Bernstein, Lorena Garcia, Gale Gand, Ming Tsai and local favorite Anupy Singla.
Other chefs include Matt Abdoo, Devin Alexander, Jay Caputo, George Duran, Bernard Guillas, Ingrid Hoffmann, Patrick McMurray, Martial Noguier, Pascale Salam Jaubert and Patty & Tom Erd.
Many of the chefs will also be doing book signings after their demonstrations.

The 2014 International Home + Housewares Show will feature nearly 2,100 exhibitors and attract more than 60,000 attendees.
