Eleven suppliers of cutting-edge designed products have been named as finalists for gia Global Innovation Awards for product innovation at the 2015 International Home + Housewares Show. The winners will be announced at the invitation-only gia dinner on Sunday, March 8.
The finalists are:
- Best Collection Design: iittala for Ruutu; JIA Inc. for Steamer Collection; and Parallax Horizon for Heat THAT!!.
- Best Product Design: Alessi USA for Cheese Please; Big Dragon Studios for TurbineUSA Pizza Cutter; David Rasmussen Design for Wud Tumbler; Dreamfarm for SAVEL; Eva Solo for Digital Kitchen Scale; Joseph Joseph for Can-Do Can Opener; Parallax Horizon for Scoop THAT!!; and
PO: Selected Company Limited for Pao Thermo Mug.
The finalists were selected from entries by exhibitors in the Discover Design category. Specialty retailers, design and consumer editors, trendspotters and independent designers served as Discover Design judges for the gia awards.

The 2015 International Home + Housewares Show will be held March 7-10 at Chicago’s McCormick Place and feature more than 2,100 exhibitors and over 60,000 total attendees from around the globe.
