This year the International Home + Housewares Show saw a major increase in online media attendance at the Show. The way people get their news is shifting to sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, more and more, and we’re happy to open our doors to bloggers and traditional media alike! Here are some of the best to cover the Clean + Contain expo, among others:
SHELTERPOP highlighted a few of the new ways to keep wine from cluttering your kitchen. They made mention of the Vynbar storing system and the ZEbag storage and carrying case within their post about the 2011 Show.
The Laundry Pod from StoreBound was just one of many things touched on by APARTMENT THERAPY from their coverage of the 2011 Show. The “Pod” is meant to be used as an alternative to making trips to the laundromat and can be useful for those with boats, dorms, etc.
Over at CONSUMER SEARCH they begged the question, What will end up in your home?On the cleaning side their response included some of the newest gadgets at the Show, robotic vacuums. They saw the Mint, a sort of robotic swiffer, and IRobot’s Scooba, hardwood floor cleaning cousin of the Roomba, as the best in show.
One of the gentlemen from PawGanics was kind enough to show a few ladies from THE NEST that his all-purpose cleaner was no harm to the environment by drinking right from the bottle. Seriously, he drank the cleaner. The Nest seemed very impressed.
