GOOD 360: Help out the victims of Sandy with housewares!

The International Housewares Association (IHA) is partnering with Good360 to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Good360 works with specific agencies to assess the needs of victims and target product and other donations from IHA members to those in need.

As the East Coast continues to assess the damage left behind by Superstorm Sandy, we are looking to fulfill the product needs of our nonprofits active in disaster relief. Currently, we are working with our nonprofit partners on the ground in the affected areas to assess the immediate needs. Good360 has nearly 30 years of experience distributing product donations to nonprofits working in disaster relief and recovery situations.

There are several ways your company can help:

Donate Cash

During emergency disaster relief, typically the most immediate need is cash. Consistently ranked by Forbes as one of the top ten most efficient charities in America, Good360 can deliver, on average, $70 worth of critically needed goods for every dollar donated.

Donate Products or Transportation

After the damage is assessed, the recovery process uncovers many unmet needs from building and cleaning supplies, to apparel and personal care products. We’re looking for donations that can help families rebuild and regain a semblance of normalcy. The road to recovery is long and needs are always changing. Submit your email address to join our Disaster Coalition and receive updates on Superstorm Sandy product needs and future disasters. We are collaborating with the Mid-Atlantic VOAD to discuss the current situation with Superstorm Sandy and will update the list-serv as we learn more.
