…Late in 1906, Italian immigrant Angelo Vitantonio invented the first hand crank pasta machine in Cleveland, OH. Pasta no longer needed to be flattened and cut by hand, making it much easier to produce. What are the chances pasta becomes as common in America without this invention? Even two year olds can make pasta with the help of the crank:
