The HECNA Board has approved a rebranding of the Housewares Export Council to the IHA International Business Council (IBC). This will be officially announced just after the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show. In addition, the IHA Board has approved an elimination of dues for IBC beginning with the new membership year that will begin April 1, 2014. The elimination of dues will avail the resources of IBC to a broader audience of IHA member companies.
In lieu of a membership fee, IHA member companies who wish to take advantage of IBC benefits will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire. The results of that questionnaire will help IHA target the development of future IBC member benefits and services.

To become a 2014/2015 IBC member, members are asked to visit www.housewares.org/ibc and complete the IBC member profile survey, available April 15.
